Warranty
Warranty Overview
Every Walker & Crown watch is covered by a 2-year limited warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal conditions of use and is valid worldwide for the original purchaser.
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights, which are not affected.
What’s Covered
This warranty covers:
- Movement faults arising from manufacturing defects
- Defects in the case, dial, hands or crystal present at the point of delivery
- Defects in the bracelet, strap, clasp or fastening hardware resulting from manufacturing faults
- Loss of water resistance caused by a manufacturing defect
What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, coating wear, strap and bracelet ageing and everyday marks
- Damage resulting from accidents, impacts, negligence, misuse or improper handling
- Water damage caused by user error, including operating the crown while wet or failing to screw it down fully
- Water ingress resulting from impact damage, ageing seals, lack of maintenance or improper use
- Damage caused by unauthorised repairs, modifications or alterations
- Magnetisation of the movement or timing issues caused by external influences
- Loss, theft or cosmetic damage that does not affect the function of the wattch
- Failure to follow the care instructions within this warranty
Water resistance is not a permanent condition and may diminish over time due to normal wear and ageing of seals.
Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation and/or receipt.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
Looking After Your Watch
Your watch is rated to 10 ATM (100 metres) and features a screw-down crown, making it suitable for swimming and everyday water exposure.
To help keep your watch in excellent condition:
- Always ensure the crown is fully screwed down before any water exposure
- Avoid over winding of the watch as this may damage the movement. We recommend 5 full rotations of the crown to get the movement started. Natural movement will continue to power the watch.
- Rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water or chlorinated water.
- Avoid sudden and extreme temperature changes, such as moving directly from a hot shower into cold water, as this can affect case seals.
- Have the watch inspected and serviced periodically to help maintain water resistance over time.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your watch has a manufacturing fault, please email support@walkerandcrown.com with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos or a short video where possible
We’ll review the information and provide instructions for returning the watch if the claim appears to be covered under warranty.
Our Resolution Process
Once we receive your watch, we will inspect it to determine whether the issue is covered under this warranty.
Where a manufacturing fault is confirmed, Walker & Crown may, at its discretion:
- Repair the watch
- Replace the watch with the same model, subject to availability
- Provide a comparable replacement where the original model is no longer available
If a repair or replacement is provided under warranty, the original warranty period will continue from the original date of delivery and will not restart or be extended.
Our aim is always to provide a straightforward, hassle-free resolution with as little back and forth as possible.
We’d rather make it right than make it difficult.
FAQs
Watch Specifications & Quality
What is included in the box?
Every Revival watch box includes:
Your chosen Revival watch on the quick release link bracelet
An additional, matching strap. The Laser Drift additional strap a black nylon/leather composite and for The Clerk, Memphis Beat and Electric Lagoon the strap is crosshatch leather.
A custom designed C60 blank cassette, with an NFC chip embedded that takes you to a curated Spotify playlist.
A small tool to adjust the bracelet.
What materials are used in the Revival Series?
All watches feature high quality materials including anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass, 316L stainless steel, brushed finish case, Japanese automatic movements and 10 ATM (100 metres) water resistance.
Which Japanese Miyota movement is in my watch?
The movements vary by model – The Clerk is Miyota 9015 (includes a date function) and The Laser Drift, Electric Lagoon and Memphis Beat is Miyota 9039.
Is the bracelet micro adjustable?
Yes. All our bracelets are micro adjustable using the classic 1980s sliding clasp mechanism. Your watch comes with a small tool to help you adjust and find the perfect fit.
How do I interchange between the bracelet and the strap?
Our quick-release system allows you to switch between the bracelet and strap in seconds. Simply slide the release tab on the back of the strap or bracelet to remove and attach without any tools.
How do the NFC cassette and Spotify playlist work?
The cassette is a blank C60, encouraging you to make your own mixtape. It has an embedded NFC chip that, when tapped with a modern smartphone and NFC switched on, will immediately launch the curate, model specific Spotify playlist.
Should my rotor make this noise?
Yes. Your watch is powered by a Miyota automatic movement, and its rotor has a “whirr” sound when you move your wrist. It’s the sound of the watch winding itself, so think of it as the cassette hiss of the watch world: some people find it charming, and it doesn’t affect accuracy or reliability.
If it ever sounds like grinding, scraping or rattling instead, that’s not normal. Message us at support@walkerandcrown.com, and we’ll sort it out.
